Happy 5th Birthday Paris

Happy Birthday to MISS PARIS!!! She turned, 1 hand today (5) and she had a wonderful day doing so! At school it was pony day, where she got to ride a pony plus take a photo on it. Then she had ballet after school. Lastly she got to enjoy some cake with her brothers, Robb and I. This weekend she will have a small class party. I'll post some photos tomorrow of tonight's "cake festivities", plus a "5 years in Review" of Paris' life!! Great idea Tonya!!!

I Got Goosed!

As I was getting ready to lock up the house and turn on the alarm tonight I peeked outside by my front door. No UPS boxes, but a goose was sitting there looking at me!!

I GOT GOOSED!!!!!!!!! Now, who left it???? No note attached.....what shall I call him? Cupid for this month?

26 hours until Paris' birthday...............boy, how time flies!!! Weds is the BIG day!!

Rain Rain, Please Stay!!

I am loving this rain today!!! I am trying to stay indoors and get caught up on life. Which is really laundry, school work, bills, maybe some scrapbooking (hee hee) and going through stacks of "stuff" on my desk. Hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying this grey Sunday!!! We have 3:10 to Yuma to watch tonight! Heard it was good!! xoxoxo

110th Post!

This is my 110th post! How time has flown! Well nothing really new to chat about. Same old stuff, just a new day! Busy this week with Robb being out of town and I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow (hopefully). He comes back in an hour! Yay!!

Today Paris got a hair cut (or shall I say trim). 3rd trim ever. Yesterday, her and I went and saw "Enchanted" while the boys were in school. I had a gift card and it was raining, so good excuse to skip laundry and writing my b-day thank you cards. Cute movie!! Thursdays she gets out of school by noon and Friday she has no school. So we try and do fun stuff. Next year Paris will be in a full day Kindergarten program like Aiden. Which Aiden's 100th day @ school was today! He brought in 100 sunflower seeds. Also, he started t-ball at school today, next week he will also start karate at school (in the after school program). Oh and Evan, and his rock band of 3 friends, made the try outs for the talent show at school in February. They played "Rockin' Robin" at try outs on Tuesday. Then today was told they made it. Evan was on electric guitar! He is quite good! Both electric and acoustic. He is right now at the 1st of 5 soccer tournament games with his Papa. The rest are over thenext few days and Robb will be taking him. This weekend is lots of soccer and rain I heard in the forecast (yippee). Rain gives me a reason to not venture out and run errands.....last Sunday I stayed in my PJs all day!! Whoo hoo!!! But I did take a shower and change into new PJs for bedtime (I think that is an OCD thing with me).

Paris' 5th birthday is this week. She has ballet that day, so maybe dinner after? Planning her party for just some friends for the following weekend! I have been so busy I keep forgetting about her birthday, yes she shares my birthday month (ha ha ha). Poor girl got over shadowed with my 30th...well she is excited to be now "ONE HAND" old! As she tells people (5 fingers). And also it will be Pixie Dust's 1 year adoption "birthday" on Feb 3rd. That is the day we picked her up from the rescue group. But she is in fact 5 too, they think she had a November 2002 birthday, but who knows. So, we may have a small family party here for her (hee hee). Other then that and the fact I have Jury Duty for the 1st time every on Feb 5th, I am just laying low and trying to catch up around my scrap room and office! I do have to say I enjoy pilates and will continue to go back 2 times a week for 5 weeks, lets see if it can get me to be more balanced, tone and athletic looking!!! Summer is coming and I need all the help I can get. I want muscles!!!! Especially in the upper arms. Jessica Biel arms would be nice! I'll order 2 of those :)

Ok, enough rambling to whoever reads this...all 9 of you!!! This is the longest post I have ever wrote and pardon any grammatical errors, as my brain is thinking Geology right now (I'll explain later)...... xoxoxo night night!! And thank you Liz for the birthday flowers!! The vase rocks!! Very me!

PS~ Did you know the softest mineral known to man (according to Moh's Hardness Scale)is "talc" and the hardest is a "diamond".....thought you'd all want to know this....if I am learning this stuff so are all you all!!! I'll be posting my weekly essays as well (just kidding)....yes I will HOPEFULLY be graduating this May...finally! But I will continue (maybe) afterwards and do some more schooling! Why not??? hee hee

A Hannah Montana Night....

Our Hannah Montana / Miley Cyrus concert night @ Jobing.com Arena...fun fun fun, BUT LOUD!! Boy my ears were ringing!!! Paris fell asleep 1/2 was through it. But Aiden and Kenzie kept rocking all the way till the end of the show! We had pretty good tickets, section 114 row B (the whole row, 6 tickets, hee hee). People on the floor paid more then we did and they had a hard time seeing since everyone was the same height sitting in chairs. So our seats we great height wise!! This is defintely not the Wiggles concert (which I loved!!).......Part 4 of my birthday month was last night! (***lots of photos below, I know***)

My Birthday.....yes Finally it's Really here!

Well my birthday is almost over....about 90 minutes and it is gone :) I am officially 30 as of 5:30pm this evening. Today I kept busy around the house and started Pilates. I love it! I'll go back tomorrow for another session. I also learned Heath Ledger died today on my birthday, which is sad. I thought he was an excellent actor. I actually just walked in from the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert. I took the kids, and my sister and neice. I'll post pictures tomorrow afternoon. We got a ton! Paris actually fell asleep at the concert 1/2 way through!!Then tomorrow, from when I take the kids to school until about 3pm, I have one thing after another planned. Busy day!!!

OH OH...and I got flowers from a friend today and a 2nd box of gifts from Tonya...plus oodles of emails and calls....thanks everyone! LOVE you all!!!

My Birthday at Skye

Ok last night was really fun! Us cousins and siblings (no kids) met up at "Skye" (by Arrowhead Mall) for dinner and dancing. There was 10 of us and we all had steak, shrimp or lobster! Yay!!! I also had a Birthday dessert brought out and our table sang to me. Plus a song was dedicated to me from the live band who performs on the weekends at "Skye" (song by Norah Jones). So last night was a part 3 of my 30th Birthday month!!!


















The story behind these next photos is funny. My cousin got there and in the parking lot was only a few small spaces. So he pulls into this one and the car in front of him was hanging into his space. We all laughed at how far he was sticking out into the street. Well, when the car in front of him left it looked SO FUNNY. Like he was just cruising into a spot and decided to stop half way in. I had to take Pictures. And Robb left a note that got some laughs out of Micah later since he did not know we left it until this AM. This was all more funny in person, of course...all the way home Robb and I giggled!!
