Pumpkin Patch

Last Sunday we went to Tolmachoff's Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze off 75th Ave. I guess my grandmother went to highschool with the current family members', who run the farm, father. I guess it has been around for a long time!! Here are our photos!

Disneyland Countdown

We are excited around here.....because we have a Disneyland countdown going on! 10 days until we leave on our 3 night/4 day trip! Ever since we got our annual passes last July I have been itching to go back.....here are some photos from past trips to Disneyland....we are Disney nuts in my house :)These are photos mixed up from 2003-2007. We go at least 2 times a year, and in 2005 we probably went at least 6 times.

OK, here is a few scans of Paris' artwork. She drew these free hand after looking at a picture a teacher was holding up. She took an art class over the summer and I think she likes it!!! One is an Elephant (with a monkey next to him) and the other is an Alligator. (hope this comes in clearly)

Just realized I have had this blog for 1 year (and 3 days) now!!! Wow, how time flies. Have a great day everyone. We have lots of soccer today and tomorrow is the pumpkin patch (support your local farms!!!). Happy Fall Y'all....

Back to Brown

OK, it has been 7 years since I have been solid brown. Well I guess really 9 years since I put any color dye in my hair, but 7 since I went REAL blonde with the highlights...........so last night I went to get my highlights done and told my hair dresser Richard I wanted 7 inches cut off and back to my natural color. He thought I was joking, and looked nervous while coloring.....ha ha ha!! So here is to something different (kinda), and hey it is Winter, so if I get sick of it by Summer then I can always add highlights again!! If you look back to my August posts and my Cruise photos you can see my hair color before I got it dyed last night. And the length before the cut too!

More Scrap Layouts

I am so slow posting layouts...I take the picture and then it just sits on my camera until I upload the photos off of it. Then sits on my computer until I remember to post them.....ok here are a few more I already posted at Secret Scrapper. You'll notice the Rusty Pickle paper (my favorite brand of paper next to Daisy D's) and also I tried to hand at stamping white paper to make my own print. So the red, white & blue layout was a "try out" lay out! And yes, I am trying to catch up on Paris' scrapbooks....so behind with her!

Home.....from Powell

It's great to be home! Lake Powell was fun, but definitely not like Summer up there. It was windy and cold.....but we still had fun. We brought up my Aunt, Uncle and cousins. So 11 of us for the 4 day weekend. I am actually still swaying like I am on the houseboat right this moment...the highlight of our trip was my "gum bowl". Yep, it was a hit! Here is a picture..I know I am a nerd!

Secret Scrapper Guest Designer Contest November 2007

Secret Scrapper is looking for a Guest Secret Agent for the month of November. This contest is open to all registered members of Secret Scrapper Forum, please feel free to join our forum it’s free and easy.

Submission requirements: Please submit your favorite original mini album; albums submitted from previous Secret Scrapper Contests are not eligible. The mini album must be smaller than 8 ½ by 11 with any number of pages. Please post a picture of the front cover of your album and no more than 10 pages of that album in the gallery. Make sure that you clearly label each photo you download to the gallery with your name so that we are aware of which album & pages are yours. Only one album entry will be accepted per contestant.

Eligibility: If you're on another online store or kit club's DT, on a LSS DT or manufacturer DT you are eligible. Former Guest Secret Agents for 2007 are not eligible for this contest. There will be two honorable mention awards given out; honorable mention winners are not excluded from entering future contests.

Upload your mini album layouts and photos of the album covers into the Contest gallery located in the Secret Scrapper gallery. Submissions are due by midnight MST on October 5, 2007.

Contest entries will be judged by the owners of Secret Scrapper Products and the Secret Agent Design team.

Contest begins: September 8th and ends October 5th. Winners will be announced October 8th.

Am I A Dork?

Ok, I have yet to find another family member, or friend, who likes the "Prarie Home Companion" radio show. Do you? Am I a dork??? I first got into listening to this show online after watching the movie (same name). Took me 3 times to sit through it and enjoy the movie. 3rd time is a charm, because I caught on to it! First 2 times I did not get it. Now I don't listen to the show live, but after Monday I listen to it in the archives. I usually have it on as background noise, but find it funny. I am trying to talk my hubby into a "St Paul" trip this Spring to see the show in person. Anyone ever do that?

Layouts...

I am putting some layouts in my Secret Scrapper gallery and thought I'd post a few here too. This is me 8 months prego with Paris and alsothe day Paris was born. 3 pages I have in her book done....I love to scrap (by the way).....

I am curious who is stalking my blog :) SOOOOOO, leave me comment by Oct 7th and you will be entered in a drawing (or Blog Candy) for something fun and wonderful! It Is Officially Soccer Season

Well the soccer season has officially started. Practice is 3 nights a week between the 3 kids, plus games every weekend. 3 this weekend for us, 2 for Evan. Then 1 for Paris and Aiden. Here are some photos of them at practice and Evan's game. Oh and 1 of Paris and her cousins at dance (combo). That started up after a break too.

Nothing else too new....catching up and relaxing around the house today. I ran all my errands all week long while the kids are in school. Paris has Fridays off, so that is my "home" day. I try not to take her into store and such. I ended up spending more with her around....she just gives me a look with her "doe" eyes and bats her eyelashes and I melt....in an instance she can do no wrong and I basically give her the freedom to get her goodies (espcially at Target, boy she loves the $1 section but forgets the jewelry section is NOT the $1 section). Anyhoo, I hope to scrap this weekend and get some layouts up on Secret Scrapper. I am returning Oct 1st as a Design Team Member to the website and I am excited. I have been on break with them since I was gone most of the summer traveling (thx Mandy for holding my spot)!!

Happy Friday..........or TGIF as I loved to say every Friday as a child. Boy my Friday nights as a child consisted mostly of good TV (anyone remember "Just The 10 of Us") and that was our official pizza night! An unwinding night for my family growing up!!

Here is Miss Eloise.....really, if you read the books or seen the movies, it is Paris' twin :) OH and Miss Paris took this photo of her beloved Eloise in her room last week...yes, I have a young photographer on my hands now! Like Mama like Daughter...
