My Mission Adventure in Uganda

Some photos from my Mission trip. I have over 1000 photos, so scaling down to a few for my blog is kind of hard :) I will post more photos later.... here you can get the idea of some of our day's events.

A pile of $1 Target flip flops we brought with us. Kristi and I each brought 3 suitcases. 1 for our clothes and personal items, 1 suitcase for Hope 4 Kids and that last suitcase was donations for our outreaches, sponsor kids and so on. We brought soccer balls, flip flops, 100 sunglasses, clothes, toys, poloroid cameras and film and lots of sweets to hand out (candy and gummy vitamins). My 3 bags weighed these amounts going to Uganda: 50lbs, 68lbs, & 60lbs. And no, we did not get charged for our heavy bags!! Praise God, since they would have been $150 for each one over 50lbs.

A butcher in Torroro. This is pretty classy and upscale compared to the meat vendors who hang their meat on hooks in their little makeshift stores out by the road.

Kristi and I strayed from the team and went to Smile Africa. We fed, played with, bathed and made pinwheels for the Karamonjong children.

A well dedication in Siabanga. This well was fundraised at our May event to replace the original well that dried up
