Hawaii a Second Time, Summer 2010

The kids and I were so blessed to go to Hawaii twice this Summer to visit my inlaws, "Papa & Hominee". My kids love Kauai! We will be back Summer 2011!!

Up early to fly out to Hawaii for a long weekend!

From Hominee's garden!

Inside laugh is how small this statue is. The Duke statue in Waikiki is life size.

North Shore!

The East side of the Island :)Drier then the other 3 sides

Lapperts Ice Cream! YUM

Tasting the gross ice cream flavor Aiden made at the mall, mixing toppings in with a tart soft serve.

Saying bye at the airport on Kauai

So sad to leave Kauai, but still wants the ice cream cone!! ha!

Summer Cabin Living 2010

A sweltering hot Arizona Summer turned cool with a trip to Flagstaff and "the cabin", which is a compound (more or less), or 3 family cabins built a few acres a part. The kids and I headed North from 115 degrees to 60 degrees in 1 hour!! Up North we enjoyed time with our cousins and grandparents, which involved Coke floats, fishing, BBQing and a drive to town for cupcakes :) Cabin life is pretty sweet in the Summer!

Cabin sunsets...

Paris has something on her line....Aiden helps REEL it in!!

Paris caught her 1st fish at the cabin pond, July 2010! (with great cousin Rob)

I wonder if this driver is Irish, or just really likes the band U2??? Only in Flagstaff :)
