He's 6!!

Aiden turned 6 and we had a birthday week!! Besides the cards and gifts that arrived in the mail all week, Aiden had a day of birthday fun and also a birthday dinner at Claim Jumper. Here is his fun birthday highlights.....he is officially 1/2 way to 12 years old...ha ha ha :)

I think it is almost FALL!!!

Wow, the 2nd day of a below 100 degree temperature here in the Phx area! I think this might be a sign of Fall...I am so happy! The start of the Holiday season kicks off with Halloween (in our home). I also am very excited to decorate my front door area outside with hay, cornstalks, pumpkins, a scarecrow and mums! I don't have any interesting "Fall" photos to share, not yet anyway! But I just wanted to say "Happy Fall Y'All!!"....

Last weekend was soooooo fun!!!! Started the weekend with the Bazzill Paper sale, then dinner at Claim Jumper Friday evening (with Liz, Teresa, April, Debbie, Amanda & her friend). Then all day Saturday my Aunt Laureen and I went to the Convention at Civic Plaza...WAY fun. Loved the Basic Grey class! Sunday was a "put away & organize" day!!! A catch up day of sorts!! Here is pics from the weekend!!!! I wish I would have brought my camera to the Bazzill sale, what a site!!! Hot sweaty 45 minute line and Paris looking NOT happy about it!!!

Our Labor Day weekend was just staying home. We got a "slip n' slide" and some "dippin dots" and the kids had fun outside!!!

Date Night with the Kids

I forgot to post this over the summer. I was WAY too busy I guess! Aiden & Paris went to their 1st concert (other then the Wiggles) this summer. The Police. They went with Robb & I while Evan was at soccer camp. Evan on the other hand has been to a ton of concerts....Rolling Stones (twice), Billy Joel, Jason Mraz, David Gray, etc etc...so he was not upset to miss out.

So first we went to the Spaghetti Factory on Central. Wow, I have been going there for years, since I was a child with my great-grandma! It was great!!!! My kids' first time. Then off to the concert. We sat in my dad's suite @ US Airways Arena, and the kids had fun. They knew a few songs and we left about 3/4 through the show. They started dozing off! So we beat the traffic and left right before the "encore set". So here are my pictures from June 2007!

Ears are pierced!!!

Besides last Thursday being Paris' 1st day of preschool we also had a "girls day" (since she only goes 1/2 day and the boys were still at school). I took her to Arista Curls at the mall for a pedicure & manicure, and also we got her ears pierced at the Piercing Pagoda. OH, also what trip to the mall would be complete without a visit to the Disney Store?????

The kids actually started a few weeks ago, I just got around to uploading their "1st day" photos!!! We got preschool, kindergarten, 3rd grade and 5th graders this year in our household!

CABIN FEVER....

We had a great time last weekend at the family cabin outside of Flagstaff. My dad has the prettiest flowers in bloom all around. And of course I took photos. Not often you see lillies and tropical flowers blooming around Flagstaff alongside pine trees! The weekend was a soccer retreat for Evan, so we dropped him off in Munds Park, and stayed a few nights ourself. We also went to the Deer Farm in Williams and went into downtown Flagstaff for some lunch and shopping. Robb's parents came along too. The weather was 72 degrees and stormy, but no rain!
