Our Charmed Christmas

Ok, the photos are uploaded off my new Nikon 40dx (yay!!) and here they are! 2 stops on Xmas Eve and 2 stops on Xmas morning.

LOTS OF FUN.........my hubby surprised me with an MAC Macbook Pro laptop. I was thinking the camera was my Xmas gift and also the Brighton shopping spree I had at Signatures was it....this was a huge surprise, and I am sooooo excited to make Imovies and do artsy stuff on it! Other gifts I got was $, gift cards, a custom plaque from Signatures, pjs, a cross frame (I collect rustic crosses) and ready for this AN ALASKAN CRUISE next summer....double wow :) My grandparents are taking the 37 of us on a cruise next July....remember last summer was the Greece cruise and well they loved traveling with us, so heck why not another cruise! 1 week r/t from Seattle July 26th. I love them so much.....they are the BEST grandparents in the world....or universe!!! My kids got great stuff too. Evan got a laptop, Guitar Hero, a bunch of Wii games, $ among other stuff. Aiden got a kareoke machine, $, ton of Godzilla stuff, DS Lite games for his Gameboy, a scooter and the softest jacket ever (among other stuff). Paris and Aiden jointly got a swing set (just swings, nothing else, as they told me months ago that is all they want). Paris got a ton of American Girl doll stuff. A bed, 2 strollers and 2 dolls. She also got a coat, a huge fluffy tutu from Chasing Fireflies (go check out their website it rocks), dolls, Barbies, Barbie suitcase from FAO and a Fuzzy Luv (among other stuff). I can't remember everything...but that is the highlights! So that is it....enjoy the pics!

27 days until I turn 30....whoo hoo....just kidding! I am doing a low key birthday. Even though my grandma want to have a "Gone with the Wind" birthday for me (silly girl huh?). We go to Hawaii in Feb for our 11th wedding anniversary and Valentine's Day, so I'd rather celebrate it then. 3 in 1 party!!

Loving Today!

I am still in my pjs and robe...loving today!!!! I have a ton of photos, so here is batch #1.

Aiden and his gingerbread house made at school, then Paris at school making her gingerbread house, then the final Nutcracker performance (Paris as a baby angel) and then my sisters and I putting a Christmas tree up for my dad. A "Charlie Brown" tree. He is a single guy and was not going to have a tree, so the 3 of us (with my dad) pulled all his old Xmas stuff out out of the attic and got a live tree....next year I'll put together a "fabulous" tree for him...this year was just a fast thing to get him something QUICK!!!

Merry Christmas

Wow...it is FINALLY here! We have had a great day (and last night too)...lots of gifts and photos to share. (hint hint, I got my Apple MacBook Pro Laptop!!!! From my hubby, not my dad!!!). I feel so blessed right now! I have LOTS to share!! Have a wonderful day and remember the real "reason for the season"!!

The Nutcracker is now done...2 shows today are OVER with!! So now I get to focus on Xmas coming up really soon!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend...life is short, enjoy each and every moment!!

4 days...

I wonder how Jolly Old St Nick will come down our chimney this year? Our fireplace is a gas one, so a fake fireplace in other words. The kids don't understand, so that is a good thing. Years past in our other homes with (*gasp*) no fireplaces we just told the kids Santa picks the lock to get inside....yep real creative huh?

I am feeling better...first day in almost a week. And tonight we have the Nutcracker and 2 more shows tomorrow...then HURRAY we are done until next December....I am SOOOO over Paris being in the Nutcracker. This is a tad bit nutty being so close to Christmas. Hope everyone is SWELL..........hugs!!

1 week to go!!!

I have so much wrapping to do, and still not feeling 100% better. Tonight is Aiden's Xmas program at school, last night was Evan's school Fall sports award night (Evan got "player of the season" award). Tomorrow I have a computer final to go take. Thursday I have 2 class parties and a gingerbread house decorating party to attend at the kids' school. Then Friday a bowling field trip and 1 class party, plus the annual office party at our family business. Then Friday evening is the Nutcracker dress rehearsal (where they will take photos of everyone) and then 2 shows on Saturday. After Saturday I can breath a sigh of relief!!! But then Xmas eve we have 2places to be, and then 2 places on Xmas day.

Here are photos from Evan's soccer game over the weekend, his sports award night and the CCV Stars soccer party last Friday at our home (the 1st picture is a cake made by a team mom)!

I have 1 more gift to get, whoo hoo! Then I am 100% done with my shopping!! Yay! On a not so great note, I am still sick. This is not fun and going on day #3!!!

9 Days Until Christmas

I have been under the weather. Had a holiday party at our house Friday night, then BOOM Saturday a.m. I got very sick....now just feeling better. I think I may have the flu.....hope your weekend has been great.....mine has really been low key. Caught up on my DVR though...and got lots of sleep! Hope I feel better tomorrow. Not a good time to get sick. I even missed a Christmas party tonight. So sad, I LOVE a fun party!!

11 days until Christmas...what is on your list this year? Have you been naughty or nice? I was nice (I think)...and I have a watch at Macy's on my list this year! I got my Nikon 40dx early...so that was part of my gift also!! Oh and I asked my father for a MAC laptop (wishful thinking).....besides that I will probably get $ and gift cards. That is the usual with my gift receiving. I did get some cute Victoria's Secret PJs from Tonya! They say Santa Baby on the tank top...SUPER comfy and cute. And Liz got me some scrap goodies (Zoe and Noel from Love Elsie). It is not even Xmas and I am making out pretty good so far!
