I made it after flying 20 hours between Thursday and Friday. Friday we got to Entebbe Uganda at 9:40pm, so off to the hotel we went about 10 minutes away from the airport. It was raining and the hotel roof was leaking in the reception area. Saturday was spend driving 7 hours to Fort Portal. We ate lunch, then vistied the Sunrise House (which is an orphange with 37 sponsored children), then we went to a farm and then checked into our hotel here in Fort Portal. Today (Sunday) we wke up and went to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a safari. The drive was about 5 hours from our hotel. We stopped at the Equator and took photos. The safari was in the bus and also in a boat. We saw elephants, 1 lioness, wart hogs, antelope gazelles, hippos, water buffalo and many goats. Goats roam around everywhere here, along with monkeys in the trees among the roadways driving. We made peanut butter sandwiches along the roadside for lunch, all 53 of us. Also, there are no bathrooms, so we go in the wilderness, which has been an adventure. No one is modest anymore.
Tomorrow we will go to Torroro from Fort Portal to team up with Smile Africa for our 3 day festival. Then we will be with True Vine until we leave next Sunday. Ture Vine has a church, school, clinic and orphange. Which we will help with the 400+ kids there.
